Nancy Kuenn has taught Spanish at Two Roads Charter School for six years.  She also teaches homeschool Spanish classes for various groups. Nancy graduated from Central Washington University with a B.A. in Education and Spanish, and a minor in German, and has done graduate studies in Linguistics and Professional Development.  She has studied in Spain, Mexico, and Colombia, taken students to Mexico, and spent time in Nicaragua, Ecuador, Peru, Europe, and Costa Rica.

          Nancy began her teaching career in Ritzville, Washington, teaching Spanish and German as well as coaching volleyball, basketball, and tennis.  She moved to Yakima, Washington where she taught for twelve years. In the middle of those years, she spent almost three years teaching in and directing a K-12 Spanish program in a school for Wycliffe missionary kids in Colombia, South America.  As she was homeschooling her two sons, she continued to teach various Spanish classes to homeschoolers. Both of her sons graduated from Two Roads and appreciated the opportunities and education they received here.

    Nancy has been married to her husband, Gordy, for 26 years.  She enjoys traveling, new adventures, scrapbooking, learning languages, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
