Meet the Administration
Two Roads provides small, rigorous K-12 classes, catering to over 600 students across two campuses. We serve full-time and homeschool students, offering PreK-12 programs and specialized options like full-time elementary for athletes. Our curriculum includes Concurrent Enrollment and ASCENT programs, enabling high school students to earn college credit.

Wendy Noel
Wendy Noel has been with Two Roads since August of 2003—first as a teacher, then as an Assistant Principal, and now as the Principal. Before coming to Two Roads, Wendy taught at The Academy of Charter Schools (as a 5th grade teacher), Gymnastika (a school for full time gymnasts), and JHSO (a homeschool support program similar to Two Roads). Having taught for a total of 12 years in various grade levels, then having worked as the Assistant Principal at the Littleton campus for four years, and now serving as Two Roads’ Principal since May of 2012, Wendy Noel has developed a true love for educating students.
Wendy Noel is a 1997 graduate of Colorado Christian University receiving a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts with an Elementary Education emphasis and a minor in Biblical Studies. She went on to complete her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Principal Licensure at Adams State College in 2011.
Wendy has been married to her husband, Michael, since 1996. Together they have three daughters and live in Westminster. Wendy is an avid reader, enjoys spending time with her families and friends, and loves to travel. She recently reached her goal to travel to all 50 states! She also has a deep passion for leadership and learning.
Tricia Shive
Tricia Shive has been with Two Roads since 2006 as our Writing and Literature Teacher. During the 2013-2014 school year, she began a new position serving as an Assistant Principal. She has a passion for educating the whole child and to personalize learning for overall student achievement.
Tricia earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Colorado Christian University and her graduate degree at the University of Colorado Denver. She taught full time at The Academy of Charter Schools and Elbert County Charter School before making the decision to stay home with her two children. While at home, Tricia worked for Colorado Virtual Academy as an online teacher. When she began homeschooling, she accepted a position teaching writing and literature at the Littleton Campus. Her experience teaching in both the traditional and non-traditional classroom, developing curriculum, homeschooling her own children and working with special needs children has given her the ability to provide both practical and relational support to our homeschool community. Tricia is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies.
Tricia has been married to her husband Kevin since 1996. Together they have two children and live in Golden. Tricia enjoys spending time with her family, close friends, reading historical fiction and perusing thrift stores.
John Waters
John Waters joined Two Roads in the spring of 2016 as the Assistant Principal at the Arvada campus. He taught World History for 5 years at Faith Christian High School and was the Student Council Advisor. In addition to teaching, John has worked in student ministry at a local church and most recently as the Operations Manager for a parking real estate management company in downtown Denver. Working with students as a teacher, mentor, and advisor has been a passion of John's throughout his life.
John earned his BA in History with a minor in Communication from the University of Colorado in 1997. He also holds an MPA with a concentration in Education Policy.
John is married to Courtney and they have 3 children. John enjoys movies, yard work, Da Bulls, shoe shopping, and Sharpie markers.
Lisa Wick
Lisa Wick began her partnership with Two Roads (HOPE) in 2007 as a homeschool parent. During this time, Lisa served on both the School Accountability Committee and Board of Directors as a parent volunteer. All three of her children graduated as homeschool students from Two Roads. Currently Lisa serves as the school's Director of Data and Operations.
Lisa's most recent professional experience outside of Two Roads includes her role as Business Operations Coordinator for Nursing Services at Porter Adventist Hospital, where she managed the clinical nursing policy process and system. Further, she maintained clinical outcomes and nursing data necessary for national and state reports. Previous experience includes classroom and studio teaching, church music ministry, and public radio management.
Lisa earned a BA in Vocal Performance from Union College in Lincoln, NE. She still enjoys singing and directing choirs. She considers herself a lifelong learner and enjoys Excel spreadsheets, knitting, home renovation and any kind of planning.
